Tian Kesheng was engaged in creating themed oil painting works in his early ages, as well as has created a large quantity of sketch oil paintings and living sketch works. In the later Cultural Revolution, Tian Kesheng began to create landscape oil paintings, such as the Long River series, the Springside series, the Southern Hunan series, Shenzhen series, Lotus Flower series, Europe series and so on.

About Artist Tian Kesheng:
Tian Kesheng, who was born in 1940 in Hebei province, and graduated from the oil painting department at Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1965, acted as the first grade national artist and professor. Now Tian Kesheng is employed in Shenzhen Art Studio,and the same time is acted as member of Chinese Artists Association, member of Shenzhen Showfolk League, chairman of Shenzhen Institute of Oil Painting, advisor of Shenzhen Artists Association.
Tian Kesheng had studies in Beijing Academy of Fine Arts in 50-60s last century for eight years, after graduation, he began to engage in long-term painting creation work, he had been employed as high-grade professional artist by PLA Air Force, Shenzhen University, Shenzhen Art Studio and so on.
With profound artistic techniques and wide living experience, Tian Kesheng kept on his concept of “Art should conformed to the time” and his persisting working spirit, he has gained rich and great art achievements in the past few decades. Tian Kesheng had won third-class merits for three times for his “outstanding achievement of creative work”, and 30 pieces of oil painting works were selected to attend national art shows, more than 800 pieces of artworks were been published on provincial publications, and more than 40 piece of artworks were selected to attend international art shows as well as be collected by professional specialized collectors.
