About Artist He Jiancheng:
He Jiancheng, was born in July, 1957 in Guangzhou, who was graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1987 and gained a postgraduate degree in the Oil Painting Department. After graduation he left at school and acted as a teacher in the Department of Oil Painting. In 1988 He Jiancheng went to the United States and acted as a professional artist. At present he is teach at the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and acted as an associate professor.

Oil painting work “Pioneer” won the second prize in the “International Youth Year Art Exhibition” in 1985, and the painting is now collected by the Chinese Art Museum.

* About Artist LinFengmian:
Lin Fengmian (1900-1991), famous Chinese modern artist and art educator.
Formerly known as Lin Fengmin, was born in Mei County, Guangdong Province, who became enjoyed with painting in his childhood.
Had been to France for a work-study program in 19-year-old, and took a further education of Western painting in the Beattie School of Fine Arts, and later transferred to the National Higher School of Fine Arts in Paris to take up a advanced studies.
After returnning homeland in 1925 Lin Fengmian took up the post as the Chancellor and Peking Professor of the Yuanpei College of Arts in 1927.
Invited by Cai Yuanpei Mr. Lin went to Hangzhou city and creat the National Art Academy(Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts later) in 1927 and acted as the president.
After the liberation Mr Lin was acted as the office of Shanghai Chinese Painting Institute Artist. Lin Fengmian was settled in Hong Kong since 70s, in 1979 he held a individual painting exhibition in Paris, which achieved a great success.
Representive Works of Lin Fengmian there are “Clear Spring”, “Riverside”, “Lady”, “Landscape”, “Still Life” and so on. He had finished book “New Theory of Chinese Painting”, and published “Lin Fengmian Artbook” and so on.
Lin Fengmian was good at describing lady figures, opera characters, the fishing village customs & sceneries and female bodies, as well as various types of still life paintings and landscape oil paintings within houses.
As viewed from the contents of his works the style of desolate, lonely, open and , lyrical styles are typical; From forms one is a sort of square composition, and the other is no title, with distinct characteristics, people can understand his paintings once see it. About Artist Chen Yifei:
Chen Yifei (4/14/1946 -4/10/2005) , was born in Zhenhai, Ningbo, Zhejiang.
In 1965 he graduated from the Shanghai Fine Arts College and entered the Oil Painting & Sculpture Creative Studio in Shanghai Art Academy, and acted as one of headers of the oil painting group.
After living in the United States since 1980, Chen Yifei focused on the Chinese themed oil paintings’ research and creations. After years of unremitting efforts and has achieved outstanding success and Mr. Chen become a well-known Chinese artists at home and abroad.
During the 60-70 Chen Yifei created “The Yellow River”, “Occupied the Presidential Hall “, “Strolling” and other well-known excellent oil paintings, which let him stand out from artists of the same age.
In 1980 Chen Yifei went to the United States with only 38 U.S. dollars to pursue a further study and captured a master’s degree of art in 1984. Later he engaged in oil paintings producing in New York and held personal exhibitions in Washington, New York, Tokyo and other places.
Works of Chen Yifei had been sent to auctions on quality oil paintings that held domestic and in Hong Kong, and his work of oil painting “Highland Customs” has gained the highest auction price in Chinese oil paintings.
